Virtual Hairdresser ?

Hey sweeties

I'm in desperate need of a hair cut and I just can't make up my mind. Have you ever thought you want one thing and then gone back on it and thought actually I changed my mind. Well that's how am being with my hair at the moment. I just can't decide weather I want a full fringe or keep it the way it is or go shorter then I'm thinking.

I change my mind every day and now my hair is getting pretty ridiculous. It keeps getting tangled and knotted and it's a damn pain.
But then again I love the length and I don't want to cut it too short because of what happened before (if you don't know what I'm talking about just click here to read my hair story).

After searching for a virtual hairdresser I came across a site called instyle and it did a virtual makeover. I clicked on it thinking it was going to be rubbish but I was actually pleasantly surprised so I just had to share it with you.

On there site you can try all sorts of celebrity hairstyles from Adele to Zooey Deschanel at just one click of a button. Best of all you can upload a photo of yourself and see what the hairstyle looks on you, like a try before you buy. Or you can choose one of there model pictures.

The site also lets you apply make up. So if you see a colour of eyeshadow or lipstick you like you can put it on the picture of yourself plus it tell you what that shade is, where it's from and how much.  Another thing I like is you can try on celebrity completed looks and it tells you how you can achieve this look who was the make up artist who did it and insider tips.

I also like how you can save your looks and come back to them later on.
Bonus is it's all free all you have to do is register and start making over.

Click here or visit there website at www.instyle.com/instyle/makeover

Who knows I might just find a hairstyle I like and post a picture maybe lol

Hope you enjoyed my post even though there's no pictures :(

Rimmel 60 seconds nail polish review

Hey lovelies

This post is about a new polish I picked up recently. As you can tell from the title it's from rimmel in there 60 seconds line and the colour is called 415 instyle coral.
I just love the colour.

It's a bright coral/peachy colour however it's not in your face bright.
On camera it translate alot lighter and pinker then in person.

But the colour is more like the picture below.

One of my favourite things about rimmel nail polishes are there brushes it makes it so much easier to apply the nail polish. Just one sweep and it's practically done. The brush itself is more squared and flat so it fits the nail bed better hence the easy application.

Another thing I like is how fast it dries although the name would suggest it dries in 60 seconds I wouldn't agree with that statement but still it dried faster than a normal nail polish.

When applying the first coat it was smooth but it did streak a little so I ended up applying two coats. The second coat doesn't dry as fast as the first coat as I found out when I gouged a chucked of it trying to grab a bobby pin.

I also noticed that even without a top coat the nail polish it self had a shiny effect so you could skip top coat if you were in a rush. Even a few days later when it started chipping I still had a shine to my nails.

Overall I think this is a good polish and at £3.69 they are affordable too. I can't wait to get more summery colours.

You can buy Rimmel products from boots, superdrug in the uk
They also have there own site www.rimmellondon.com

My Hair Story (part 2)

Hey Sweeties

I know I promised this post would be up soon back in february and now its april but if you read my update you will know the four one one.

Moving swiftly on If you haven't already checked out my hair story part one you should go check that out it will give you tips on how not to come out with shorter hair then you expected plus my story on my hair and why it's taken me two years to get to the length it is right now.

Now we have that out of the way let's get on with the post

So as some of you already know my hair was extremely short and I hated my hair being so short I decided to grow my hair out. It took me about two years to grow it out as I said before. So your hair is not going to grow over night like I wanted it to, so you have to be patient with it. I tried pretty much everything to make my hair grow faster. But basically I found out that you can help your hair get to the length you oh so desire by using these tips.

 ❤ Eat a balanced diet

Yeah sounds wierd but true. Protein is pretty much essential for healty hair growth. Healthy hair = stronger hair = less spilt ends = length.

❤ Eat adequate amounts of iron and zinc plus dont cut fat out of your diet

Iron and zinc deficiencies can lead to poor hair health or even hair loss. So keep eating bread , pasta , peanut butter, ceral etc. without fat being in your diet your body can't maintain healthy hair.

❤ Be sure you have vitamins

Weather you eat oranges or have them out of a bottle for the same reasons as before they help maintain your hair healthy.

 ❤ Maintain good general health

eat well excersise and make sure you get enough sleep.

❤ Try to avoid perming, colouring , bleaching or generally using heat on your
   hair

❤ Brush or comb your hair twice a day

I do this by flicking my head upside down sounds strange but I read some where that it suppose to help but I don't know if it actually does or doesn't.

❤ Avoid pulling at the roots and be gentle with your hair.

❤ Try not to use rubber bands for putting your hair up

❤ Try not to put your hair up in tight styles

 ❤ Get regular trims

I never really followed this rule I get my hair trimmed if I feel my hair has got to a point were I feel like it stopped growing.

Hope you enjoyed my post
