My Everday Make up Routine

Hey sweeties hope your all good :)

As you can see from the title this post is going to be about my everyday make up routine. I don't wear make up if I'm just in my house however if I do go out I like a quick and fast make up so I can slap it on within 10 minutes leave the house and still look presentable.

❤ The Body Shop Bronzing Powder - 01
 ❤ 17 Wild Curls Mascara - Black
❤ Garnier Roll-on Anti dark circles - Fair
 ❤ Clarins Concealer Stick - 01
 ❤ Carmex Moisturising Lip balm
❤ Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder -001 Transparent

I haven't had really bad skin so all I been putting on is a little bit of clarins concealer were I have redness and on blemish then I roll the garnier roller ball under my eyes blend it all with my clean finger tips. I then lightly dust in my t-zone and set the concealers. I apply my bronzer on my cheeks and do the e3 thing apply some mascara and lip balm and I'm good to go.

Hope you enjoyed my post feel free to comment/follow

Where have I been ??

Hey sweeties

So I haven't been on blogger for a while and that is because I been decorating my room and its finally finshed :)

I have never been so happy in my life because it took soooo long and I couldn't do post :( because by the time we got everything back in the room it would be like 12pm and I been up since 9am doing my room anyways it's finshed. I learnt a few lessons along the way such as stir the paint before you start painting the walls. I blame that one on the boyfriend he read the can to see how long it takes to dry but not the directions.

I just wanted to tell you all what I been up to and show ya all my room.

(I don't think i'll ever decorate a room again)

This was just a quick post to update you on were I been and what I been up to. Hope you enjoyed looking round my room. More post on the way :)

April Favourites

Hey Sweetie pies

It's that time of the month again when you see them videos and post popping up.
Yes it's April favourites. These are one of my favourite post to read and one of my favourite videos to watch. So lets just get on with it ....

First up is the Rimmel 60 seconds nail polish. The colour is 415 instyle coral. I have worn this all month on both my hands and toes plus I have a review on this nail polish just click here if your interested.

Next thing is the dove visible effects hand cream. Lately my hands have felt slightly dry so I just been picking this up and I'm loving it.

Then we have my hair serum which is the Trevor Sorbie beautifully straightened lightweight serum. When I can't be bothered to condition  (yes I no it's naughty but come on we all have them days) or my ends feel a tad dry I just use this and I LOVE it. I have nearly ran out and I'm dying to know where I can get my hands on it, so if you know please comment or email me.

Next up is the garnier summerbody moisturising lotion sun-kissed look. What I like about this is because it has extract of apricot and it smells amazing. My boyfriend hates it when I fake tan because it is not the most pleasant smell which I don't blame him. So instead I been using this. Bonus on offer at tesco for £1.90.

Finally is my ysl lipstick in number 1 nude beige. I have been using this constantly all month and I just heart it.

Hope you enjoyed my post feel free to comment/follow

Virtual Hairdresser ?

Hey sweeties

I'm in desperate need of a hair cut and I just can't make up my mind. Have you ever thought you want one thing and then gone back on it and thought actually I changed my mind. Well that's how am being with my hair at the moment. I just can't decide weather I want a full fringe or keep it the way it is or go shorter then I'm thinking.

I change my mind every day and now my hair is getting pretty ridiculous. It keeps getting tangled and knotted and it's a damn pain.
But then again I love the length and I don't want to cut it too short because of what happened before (if you don't know what I'm talking about just click here to read my hair story).

After searching for a virtual hairdresser I came across a site called instyle and it did a virtual makeover. I clicked on it thinking it was going to be rubbish but I was actually pleasantly surprised so I just had to share it with you.

On there site you can try all sorts of celebrity hairstyles from Adele to Zooey Deschanel at just one click of a button. Best of all you can upload a photo of yourself and see what the hairstyle looks on you, like a try before you buy. Or you can choose one of there model pictures.

The site also lets you apply make up. So if you see a colour of eyeshadow or lipstick you like you can put it on the picture of yourself plus it tell you what that shade is, where it's from and how much.  Another thing I like is you can try on celebrity completed looks and it tells you how you can achieve this look who was the make up artist who did it and insider tips.

I also like how you can save your looks and come back to them later on.
Bonus is it's all free all you have to do is register and start making over.

Click here or visit there website at

Who knows I might just find a hairstyle I like and post a picture maybe lol

Hope you enjoyed my post even though there's no pictures :(

Rimmel 60 seconds nail polish review

Hey lovelies

This post is about a new polish I picked up recently. As you can tell from the title it's from rimmel in there 60 seconds line and the colour is called 415 instyle coral.
I just love the colour.

It's a bright coral/peachy colour however it's not in your face bright.
On camera it translate alot lighter and pinker then in person.

But the colour is more like the picture below.

One of my favourite things about rimmel nail polishes are there brushes it makes it so much easier to apply the nail polish. Just one sweep and it's practically done. The brush itself is more squared and flat so it fits the nail bed better hence the easy application.

Another thing I like is how fast it dries although the name would suggest it dries in 60 seconds I wouldn't agree with that statement but still it dried faster than a normal nail polish.

When applying the first coat it was smooth but it did streak a little so I ended up applying two coats. The second coat doesn't dry as fast as the first coat as I found out when I gouged a chucked of it trying to grab a bobby pin.

I also noticed that even without a top coat the nail polish it self had a shiny effect so you could skip top coat if you were in a rush. Even a few days later when it started chipping I still had a shine to my nails.

Overall I think this is a good polish and at £3.69 they are affordable too. I can't wait to get more summery colours.

You can buy Rimmel products from boots, superdrug in the uk
They also have there own site

Hope you enjoyed my post feel free to comment/follow

My Hair Story (part 2)

Hey Sweeties

I know I promised this post would be up soon back in february and now its april but if you read my update you will know the four one one.

Moving swiftly on If you haven't already checked out my hair story part one you should go check that out it will give you tips on how not to come out with shorter hair then you expected plus my story on my hair and why it's taken me two years to get to the length it is right now.

Now we have that out of the way let's get on with the post

So as some of you already know my hair was extremely short and I hated my hair being so short I decided to grow my hair out. It took me about two years to grow it out as I said before. So your hair is not going to grow over night like I wanted it to, so you have to be patient with it. I tried pretty much everything to make my hair grow faster. But basically I found out that you can help your hair get to the length you oh so desire by using these tips.

 ❤ Eat a balanced diet

Yeah sounds wierd but true. Protein is pretty much essential for healty hair growth. Healthy hair = stronger hair = less spilt ends = length.

❤ Eat adequate amounts of iron and zinc plus dont cut fat out of your diet

Iron and zinc deficiencies can lead to poor hair health or even hair loss. So keep eating bread , pasta , peanut butter, ceral etc. without fat being in your diet your body can't maintain healthy hair.

❤ Be sure you have vitamins

Weather you eat oranges or have them out of a bottle for the same reasons as before they help maintain your hair healthy.

 ❤ Maintain good general health

eat well excersise and make sure you get enough sleep.

❤ Try to avoid perming, colouring , bleaching or generally using heat on your

❤ Brush or comb your hair twice a day

I do this by flicking my head upside down sounds strange but I read some where that it suppose to help but I don't know if it actually does or doesn't.

❤ Avoid pulling at the roots and be gentle with your hair.

❤ Try not to use rubber bands for putting your hair up

❤ Try not to put your hair up in tight styles

 ❤ Get regular trims

I never really followed this rule I get my hair trimmed if I feel my hair has got to a point were I feel like it stopped growing.

Hope you enjoyed my post

Hey my sweetie pies ☺

I woke up this morning and realized it was the last day of february which could only mean one thing..... it's time for february favourites.
I didn't do a favourites last month because I couldn't think of any but this month I definitely had some stand outs.

These five products have been my holy grail.

First up is my sudocrem I have been salvering this on my face nightly and daily if i'm not goin out anywere that is. I love this because it helps heal your acne quicker.

Next up are my Tweezers by tweezerman. I always use to get my eyebrows threaded but since the price has gone up and since no one can seem to understand how I like them I just been doing them myself.

Then we have my shu uemura eyelash curlers. I absolutely love these so much I will do a full review of them soon.

Now this blush by sleek in the colour flamingo I have been reaching for constantly as well as my face contour kit in the colour light.

Hope you enjoyed my monthly favourites I would just like to thank my boyfriend for being amazing and helping me with photoshoping my pictures.
It was our 2 year anniversary yesturday and I can't wait for many more years to come love you baby.

My Hair Story (part 1)

Hey my lovelies ☺

Back in the days of when I was 17 I didn't really care about my hair I had never had a bad cut. By bad cut I mean getting a completely different style to what I wanted.

That was til my friend found out you can get free hair cuts at a local hair dressers. She reassured me as she had just come out of there herself and she looked amazing she explained that it wasn't a professional it was someone learning but who was going to become a professional soon. At the time it didn't really bother me hair is just hair it will grow back. Boy I wished I told myself no I will just wait til I have the money to get my hair done.

Now I am going to say it wasn't a bad cut it was actually a pretty nice style but it was too short for me and to me it emphaisized how round my face is.

Anyways I arrived to the appointment and you know how the drill goes wash your hair ask you would you like a cuppa ask you what you want that all went fine. I ended up being in there for 4 hours and I was only having my hair wash cut and blow dry. In the end the professional came over and ended up having to take over I ended up looking like this ....

It is not probably the best picture to show you of the hair but it's the only one I have with it that short. They were really nice and asked me if I liked it which I said yes trying to be positive but the moment I got home I ended up bursting into tears. I know that sounds probably stupid and everyone gave me complaints on it but I just didn't like it myself.

This hairstyle had alot of pros it took less time to wash it less time to style it
however you can only wear it one way and I like to wear my hair different ways.

I thought I would give you tips so that this never has to happen to you

❤ Always take a picture this will give the stylist more of a idea of what you want rather then tell them even if you only take a picture on your phone.

❤ This is really important but have a good communication with your hair stylist so they can better understand the look your going for.

Don't just sit there speak up tell them what you think if there doing something wrong especially if your getting your hair coloured. I know plenty off people that have not spoken up because there to shy including myself.

Show how much length you want cut off. People say I want 3inches cut off and it ended up being more like eight.

❤ Be nice just because your telling them what you think be nice about it this I thought is a pretty obvious one but I thought I would still include it.

Listen to your stylist at the end of the day they are trained professionals.

I was going to include how to make your hair grow faster tips but this post is very long as it is so that will be on it's way very soon.

Hope you like the post

Gel vs Shellac

Hey Sweetie pies

So downstairs from me is a hair and nail place they just recently
advertised they were doing shellac. I had heard of shellac before but
wasn't sure what it was apart from that it lasted 2-3 weeks on your nails.
Then a few days later I watch a video by allthatglitters21 which was about
gel nails and they also last 2-3 weeks. I started wondering well whats the
difference between gel and shellac then. If they both last 2 - 3 weeks on
your nails.

Off I went on a mission to find out searching all the information I could
get my hands on. I found out that there alot off differences between
them. I thought I would share it all with you.

What is a gel manicure ?

A gel manicure is were a gel polish is applied to the nail. It claims that it doesn't chip for 2 - 3 weeks depending on the individual.

Are the claims true ?

I personally haven't had a gel or a shellac manicure myself but I have seen
for myself that it hasn't chipped instead it has peeled away from the cuticle. Also I noticed that the nails had not torn nor have broken or snagged. It had protected the nail from any harm. I found out later that it provides support for your nail and flex's rather then snaps.

                                                             picture from CND website

So what is the difference between shellac and gel ?

First thing is the formulation is different. Gel is a mixture of gel and pigment were as shellac is a mixture of polish and gel. Although the formulation doesn't sound like a big difference , it can contribute to slight differences in how it wears long term. Natural nails are different on every person.

Next thing is the application is different. With shellac there is no prep to the natural nail. No etching and No buffing. With gel you prep the nail.

You can't extend with shellac as its more like a polish but wears like a gel.
Also shellac is hypoallergenic and 3 free too... which no gel can claim this.

What is hypoallergenic and 3 ?

Hypoallergenic, meaning "below normal" or "slightly" allergenic. It is used to describe items in cosmetics and textiles that cause or are claimed to cause fewer allergic reactions.

3 is chemicals Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde and Toluene.

Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) is a plasticiser to prevent chips and cracks. DBP is an oily liquid that is soluble in fat and slightly soluble in water. It is not very volatile so it does not evaporate readily into the atmosphere.

Over 75% of DBP is used as a plasticiser in polymers such as PVC, 14% is
used in adhesives, 7% in printing inks and 3% in other miscellaneous uses,
including sealants and grouting agents used in construction as well as consumer products such as cosmetics.

Formaldehyde does not exist in nail polish. It is used in some nail hardeners but not in the actual polish. A resin, tosylamide/formaldehyde resin, makes the polish tough and resilient. While the resin is manufactured from formaldehyde, once the product becomes a resin, the formaldehyde is chemically changed and essentially no longer present. So while formaldehyde is grouped in with toluene and DBP in marketing statements and considered one of the Big 3, it isn’t actually an issue unless you have a reaction to the formaldehyde resin. You should be aware of formaldehyde in your treatment
products, not polish.

Toluene (methylbenzene, toluol, phenylmethane) is a solvent that makes the polish easy to apply. It is an aromatic hydrocarbon commonly used as an industrial solvent for the manufacturing of paints, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and rubber. Toluene is found in gasoline, acrylic paints, varnishes, lacquers, paint thinners, adhesives, glues, rubber cement, air plane glue, and shoe polish. At room temperature, toluene is a colourless, sweet smelling, volatile

David Barton says " it's a hybrid system that bring all the properties of polish and the properties of gel to make this fantastic revolutionary nail system. it will change the face of nail polish. "

His tips are to wear rubber gloves when you wash up and to apply a nail
cuticle oil. Other then that go on your everyday life.

What is the process for shellac ?

1. Perform a manicure eg shape the nail into your desired shape.
Wipe with a nail cleanser (scrubfresh however when I typed that into amazon I could not find one but I did find a similar product called nail perfection uv gel wipe & cleanser for gel nails) using a lint free wipe (200 lint free nail wipes). It's not necessary to buff your nail so skip this step.

2. Apply a thin layer of shellac uv base coat
(you will need both top and base coat get both at the same time here
and cure for 10 seconds under a uv lamp
(here is one but you can look around).

3. Apply a thin coat of shellac uv colour. This layer will be semi sheer if correctly applied. Cure under uv lamp for 2 minutes.

4. Then apply again a thin coat of shellac uv colour. This layer will provides full coverage if you are using a opaque colour. Cure for 2 minutes.

5. Apply one thin layer of shellac uv top coat. cure for another 2 minutes.

6. Then wipe your nail with a lint free pad soaked 99% Isopropyl alcohol.
Condition the nail with a oil.

                                                                 pictures from amazon

What is the process of the shellac removal ?

1. Wash your hands then apply Lint free pad soaked in acetone to the nail.
You can also buy shellac remover wrap and soak that in acetone instead. But that can get expensive. So if you decide to go the lint free pad way apply foil round your finger and try to keep it as tight as possible so the acetone doesn't dry out or it wont work. Do not dip and soak you fingers in acetone.

2. Leave for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes apply slight pressure to the fingernail twist and pull off the foil or wrap.

3. Using a orange stick scrape the remaing product.

4. Rub the nail using a lint free pad soaked with acetone to remove any product residue.

How long does it take to get shellac done ?

It depends on the place, uv lamp (if they have led it takes fraction of them time) and depends if the colour requires muliple coats. I have heard it can take 30 minutes to 1 hour.

How much does shellac cost ?

The place near me thats advertising it cost £20. It ranges were you go or if you have someone come to your home and apply it for you. Personally I wouldn't spend £20 on a manicure every 2 weeks I would rather do it myself.

What if I want to change the colour before my 2 weeks are up ?

You can use normal nail polish over the top of the shellac just make sure to use a acetone free nail polish remover if you don't want to remove your shellac.

You can not be mixed with or layered with other brands base coat, top coat or there colours if you do it can compromise the quailty.

How many colours are they for shellac ?

At this moment there are 50 colour and 15 nail effects.

                                                           picture is from CND website

Where can I purchase shellac ?

you can buy from ebay and amazon but there is a website that is the offical UK distrubuter called sweet squared.

I think that is everything but if you have any questions you can comment below or send me a message to my email.

My Mac Palette

Hey sweetie pies ☺

I have a haul comming soon my first one of the year☺
I'm so excited... just to warn you though it's winter clothing.
As I do not own a jumper!! Yes I know shocking (͡๏̯͡๏) snow on the ground and i'm crazy enough not to own a jumper anyways moving swiftly on... this post will be about my mac palette I find it super intresting what other people have in there palettes. So I thought I would share mine with you all.

This is my baby if I ever lost her I would be devastated.
As it has took me a very long time to get all these eyeshadows.
Can you believe they put the prices up again ..... naughty mac people.
Okay so it's only 50p (RRP £10) but I remember when they use to be like £9.
Just to let you know that's for the pans. There cheaper because they come without the packaging (incase you didn't know).

Starting from top left on the first row

♥ Shroom   ♥ Brule   ♥ Ricepaper   ♥ Naked Lunch   ♥ All That Glitters

Second row from left side

♥ Kid   ♥ Wedge   ♥ Woodwinked   ♥ Cork    ♥ Swiss Choclate

Bottom row from left side

♥ Sable   ♥ Satin Taupe   ♥ Antiqued    ♥ Twinks    ♥ Espresso

The Finishes

There are many drifferent finishes in mac eyeshadows and I will explain what they are and what's the drifference between them incase you don't know or you want a better understanding.

Matte - matte eyeshadows are what they say matte which means
no shimmer , no glitter there just the colour. These are perfect for the
crease. Most people say you should use matte colour in the crease as
           it does not reflect.

Matte2 - These eyeshadow are described as being more intense and smoother
             then there matte eyeshadows.

Satin - Satin eyeshadows have a shine to them. They generally give off more
of a sheen rather then a glitter. I have used these in the crease
          before now.

Veluxe pearl - These shadows almost are metalic looking. They are very
shimmery. These shadows are one of my favorites they just
seem to catch your eye in the palette.

Veluxe - Veluxe shadow are very simular to the veluxe pearl except they don't
look as metalic looking. They seem to have minimal shimmer in

Velvet - These shadow are soft and when you apply them the colour is alot
more softer then what shows in the pan.

Lustre - Lustre shadows have superfine shimmer in them which gives them
a glittery appearence. The glitter is not chunky so its not
overwhelming. So if you don't like glitter but you like the apperance
            I would try these one's.

Frost - Frost shadows have small individual glitter pieces through it. This
          gives off a shimmery/shiny effect.

These eyeshadow are described on mac ....

❤ Shroom - satin
Soft beige with shimmer

❤ Brule - satin
Soft creamy beige

❤ Ricepaper - frost
Peachy gold with shimmer

❤ Naked Lunch - frost
Minimal pink with shimmer

❤ All That Glitters - veluxe pearl
Beige with gold shimmer

❤ Kid - matte
Beige cashmere

❤ Wedge - matte
Soft muted beige taupe

❤ Woodwinked - veluxe pearl
Warm antique gold

❤ Cork - Satin
Muted golden brown

❤ Swiss Chocolate - matte
Muted reddish brown

❤ Sable - frost
Gold plum with bronze pearl

❤ Satin Taupe - frost
Taupe with sliver shimmer

❤ Antiqued - veluxe pearl
Ash bown with bronze

❤ Twinks - veluxe pearl
Deep plum with pearl

❤ Espresso - matte
Muted golden brown

Hey Guys and Girlies !

This is my first face of the day (as you can proberly tell from the title)
Thes are one of my most favorite types of post :)

Clarins Skin Illusion SPF 10 104 Cream

7 Deadly Beauty Sins Tag

Hey Guy and Girlies !

Like any normal day I was just flicking though YouTube and I saw this really cool tag It's called the 7 deadly beauty sins tag I thought I would share it with you guys

GREED - What is your most inexpensive beauty product?
My least inexpensive beauty product is my mua single black eyeshadow (shade 20) They only cost £1. Bargin :) Although they are no mac shadow they are still pretty good and for the price I don't think you can grumble. It does a great job at setting my gel liner and I use it to line my upper lash line

What is your most expensive?
My most expensive on one product is my ysl lipstick (Yves Saint Laurent Rouge volupte 01 nude beige) yes I caved and spent £23.50 on a lipstick but I justified it because I bought it with my birthday money

WRATH - What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?
I have a love/hate relationship with my stila smudge pot (electric blue)
I love it because the colour is amazing a bright blue with hint blue sparkle
It last all day
however I hate it because trying to apply it as a gel liner is not the easiest thing but it is possible maybe it's just my technique

What has been hardest to find?
Definatly my viva glam gaga lipstick (the first one) went online sold out Had to go all the way to Cheshire to get that bad boy And sadly I lost him so now he back on my wish list

GLUTTONY - What are your most delicious beauty products?
Hmm this is hard one because there are too many products but if I had to choose just one it would be my skincare. I just love the way it make my skin feels. These ones are my back ups

SLOTH - What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?
My mac eyeshadows I love them there my baby's (yes I am that sad) I just don't wear them everyday

PRIDE - What beauty product gives you more confidence?
My concealer because it hides my awful bags and any blemishes I have
Bobbi Brown

LUST - What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex? Kindness

I'm gonna add another question in here that's more beauty related

What product are you lusting for ?

I'm lusting over a raspberry lipstick I want one so bad but have not find one yet so if anyone has any suggestions please can you tell me below thanks

ENVY - What item would you most like to receive as a gift?
I would like to receive anything from mac or maybe a nars blusher as I haven't tried any of there products

Hope you like it feel free to comment/follow

Review Clarins Skin Illusion spf 10

Hey Guys and Girlies !

A couple of months back (just before christmas) I was running out of my foundation which was the clinique anti-blemish solutions liquid make up. Which I loved but I found it heavy feeling on my face. So I went in search for a new foundation and I found it, my new love.

Clarins Skin Illusion spf 10
First things first this foundation will cost you around about £24, which isn't that pricey compared to other high end foundations (for example chanel foundations can cost anywere from £31 - £44).
Next is what drew me to the foundation which was the packaging. Its a beautiful glass bottle with a gold looking lid. Bonus it comes with a pump so you have control over how much product is dispensed. I must confess I'm a sucka for expensive looking packaging. I think it looks so classy. Having said that the lid gets easy marked with finger prints.
Clarins describe this foundation as a hydrating foundation with a texture that feels as refreshing as a spritz of spring water. A formula that smoothes, evens and enhances the complexion, and delivers a spectacular "barely there" finish.
Would I agree ? I would have to say yes. It gives me a natural dewy complexion. While still covering my redness and it does all this without it feeling heavy on my skin. (I sometimes even forget if im wearing it or not) This foundation I would say has light to medium coverage.

My skin is normal - combination - oily. More normal in the winter and oiler in the summer. If you are on the more oily side I have seen complaints about how long it last on the skin. However I haven't had this problem. But I do use powder to set it.
This foundation also contains SPF 10 which people say when using flash photography can cause the skin to look paler which I haven't expierenced as I haven't tried to take photos with it on my skin. But as I was taking picture in the bottle it does appear to do this.
The colour I have is 104 cream and I am Nc20 in mac oh and I almost forgot to metion the smell (please note im not the best of smells) but I think it has a  floral scent which you can smell while applying it but while wearing it I can't.
Overall I think this is a great foundation for every day use.

Hope you liked my little ramble feel free to comment
what do you think about the foundation?
weather you would give it ago?

Mac Brushes 101

Hiya Guys and Gals!

So I know when I was looking for mac make up brushes I found it overwhelming. As I flicked though online there where so many to choose from and even though they described what they did I was still a little unsure. Back then I didn't know as much as I do now. So I trotted off in search for online help. Now there are so many videos out there that will help you but even watching them that didn't make me stop wanting all those beautiful make up brushes. So I started to buy them bit by bit. Now I have some make up brushes I dont even use. I will show you the basic essentials I think every person needs. Plus I will also show you some I enjoy having that help but I wouldn't class them as essential. I will also show you the one's I never use and the one's I have used once or twice.

                            Mac Brushes (face) Essentials

Mac 138 : I use this brush alot because I use it for blush, contouring (lightly), to powder my face and even sometimes to highlight. I do not own a blush brush or a face powder brush because when I was buying these brushes I wanted to use them for multipurpose uses as these brushes are so expensive.

Mac 187 : I use this brush mostly for buffing in my foundation. But I also use it for powdering the face and sometimes blush if I want the blush to look more sheer.

Mac 190 : I use this brush for mainly spreading foundation round my face. You could also use it for a cream blush or a cream higlight but I dont own any of these in my make up collection (not yet anyways).

                            Mac Brushes (eyes) Essentials

Mac 209 : I use this brush for eyeliner but another great use is concealing acne. Now I know what you are thinking (she's mad) but you will know what i'm talking about if you have seen Lisa Eldridge method. If you don't know who she is (which i'm sure you do) she is an amazing make up artist who does youtube videos and she has a blog.

Mac 217 : This brush I use for blending eyeshadow in the crease. You can also use it for packing colour on the lid if you use the side of it or blend it all over for a softer look. I must admit I own two of these brushes as im quite lazy about cleaning. You could if you wanted use this for concealing under the eyes.

Mac 224 : This was the first brush I ever bought from mac. I use this for blending. You might be wondering why I have two blending brushes well this brush blends alot softer/sheerer. The 217 is alot more dense which means it blends but leaves a stronger crease colour. Where as the 224 blends but doesn't leave as strong a crease colour.(I know what i mean in my head but that was really hard to describe so I inserted a picture below to show the difference) Also I use this brush for concealing under my eyes.

This picture is not the best but I didn't have natural light like the others as it was taken later
                                                   colour: Espresso by mac

Mac 239 : I use this brush for packing colour on the lid or on my brow bone.

Mac 266 : This brush is like my best friend because I use it to fill my brows. I wasn't blessed with the best brows in the world but with this brush I can achieve the brows I owe so desire for. Many people also use this brush for eyeliner as they find it difficult to use a brush such like the 209.

Mac 204 : I use this brush for brushing my brows though but you could also use it for seperating your lashes.

                           Mac Brushes (eyes)

Now these brushes although I love them and they make it easier. I do not think these are essential

Mac 214 : This brush is great for getting eyeshadow close underneath the eye. Unfortunatly I could not find this brush on the mac website. But keep checking online or in a pro store as you will not find it in a normal mac store.

Mac 222 : I use this brush for again blending eyeshadow in the crease it gives a simular effect as the 217 but if you have smaller eyes you will find this brush alot easier to work with then the 217.

Mac 231 : I use this brush for appling shadow in the tear duck area because it so small and it's easier to use then a 239.

Mac 219 : This brush is great for smudging upper and lower lash line. I also use this if I want a stronger outer v shape.

                            Mac Brushes (face)

Same as I said for the eyes although these make it easier I do not think they are essential.

Mac 227 : This is a eye brush really were you can use it to put colour over the lid in one swipe very quickly. I don't use this brush for that I use it for swiping higlighter on the top of my cheek bones. This is also good for packing powder under neath the eye area.

Mac 109 : I use this brush for blending out my contour if I put it on a little strong. This brush is also good for blush if you like your blush on the stronger side. Although i wouldn't use this brush with a very strong blush colour such as hot pink because you will look clown like unless thats the look you want to acheive. Many people use it for buffing foundation and it does a great job but this brush is known for shedding which is the reason I don't use it for foundation. Even though I orignally bought it for foundation.

Mac 168 : I mainly use this brush for placing contour to my face then I blend out with the 109. You can use it for blush as well.

                            Mac brushes (eyes + face)

Mac 213 : This brush is for packing colour on to the lid or browbone but it's so fluffy it doesn't do the best job for it. Although if you want the softer look it's great. I have used this brush once or twice and that was because I was too lazy to clean my 239.

Mac 275 : This brush is for blending but I have so many blending brushes that do a better job in my eyes. I have use this brush on occasion for the browbone.

Mac 194 : This brush is for concealor and I did use it for placing my benefit earse paste were my dark circles are but I perfer using my fingers.

Mac 242 : This is a shader brush again for packing on the lid or using for placing concealor on your face. I have never used this brush.

Mac 212 : This is for eyeliner. I have use this brushed once recently but before that I had never used it for about 2-3 years. It does a great job I just never really reach for it that oftern.

What are your favorite brushes ?
